The Blackberry Storm II 9550 is very close to us now. It's said that it will first released by Verizon in late this month.

The first Blackberry touch device is not so good compared to iPhone or Nokia. The screen, the control, the speed, none of this is satisfied. When I was attending the P&T Comm 2009, lots of visitors asked me if the screen of Storm was broken. How is Storm II? Can it beat iPhone 3GS and Nokia X6/N97? We will know it soon.

The latest BlackBerry Storm 9550 has some technology under the hood that makes for a much better typing experience. While the first BlackBerry Storm had a single contact point, the latest BlackBerry shows four contact points, dispersed equidistant to each other across the touch screen. It’s just speculation but this is largely what makes the typing experience so much better on the Storm II.

While the first Storm uses SurePress tech, a little shake when using it. The Storm II  is a rock solid piece of glass, and pressing the screen really gives you a feeling of confidence.

As you can see from the pictures, the outside of the device has had some significant changes. The major change is obviously the Call, End, Return and Menu buttons are built into the screen, rather than being separated.

The os in the pre-released phone is 5.0.0.164. As we have introduced 5.0 os (5.0.191) before, this os is more powerful and easy to use. I believe the final os will be higher than 164 and when Storm II finally released, the 5.0 os will come to the past phones like Storm, Tour, Bold and Curve.

We will continue to post info about Storm II and all our apps and themes like MyPhone will support it. So don't leave and stay with MMMOOO blog. ; -)

Nihoo loves any to-touch-with-future phones, eg, g1, gx, maemo.
    he is somehow 'Sentimental'

not like his commitment to his GF :)

i think still 2-5 models for bb to have a mature touch screen phone.

it's a long journey, but i think it will not be so long for BB

Hi there this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering
if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted
to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
