If you are planning to buy myphone and if you are using an s60 v3 do not buy it it is a waste of money
But if u are using a s60 v5 go ahead and buy it cause they have iphone like contacts sms and all the cool stuff like easy adding 3rd party apps
The version for v3 is the same as v2.11 dont need to update if you have already purchased it

On your next version maybe you should focus on s60 v3 a much more at least all the functions which v5 has v3 needs to have it too

it's impossible to read the 3rd party app icon now and even we could get it, the size of the icon is different from the icons in MyPhone. But we will add more icons in the future versions.

sorry about my earlier reply i was a bit dissapointed about it but as i know mmmooo team they can do this job they are the best and i am sure they will improve v3 version too i could not realise all the differences the most important thing is its a lot faster so go ahead and update or buy it you will be so glad you did and in the later versions i am sure you will be enjoying other great features like sms conversation or contacts easy adding 3rd party apps
you know its the best launcher so buy it or update it and i apologize again if i effected you but again i am waiting more improvements from the mmmooo team

But you know, there's too many limitation on S60 3rd for FlashLite. We are trying our best to make this app better and better, and we will not give up S60 3rd os.

I think, it is getting better and better again for S60v5 . And also the bug that It won´t
change the calender day automatically, if the application is active during the midnight

I'll have to say, this UI is a whole lot better, than Nokia´s own UI on the Nokia 5800 XM. That´s because there is so many shortcuts on the same page, it makes the life so much easier. Let see, if new firmware 31.xxxxxxx will change the situation. Keep on rocking fellows!

I just bought my phone on the 15th i want to updated to the new version but can not figure out how. I have read where it says For all MMMOOO Shop commercial users, you can download the updated v2.20 file in your id center at our shop yet i can not find the id center and i still can not figure out how to update i am getting pretty frustrated can you help thanks.

Installed the new 2.20 version in my 5800, everything seems to work except in the new SMS conversation window, when i go to search contacts window it appears empty. when I type a letter to search by a letter myphone quits. Any clues on what could be the problem?

i just purchased MyPhone 2.20 from Handango for my Nokia N97, lovvely app...
Everything works fine but:
When i rotate the screen, MyPhone's "Unlock Screen" comes up, where normaly the slide is, it says "rotate to unlock", when i rotate the N97 screen back, MyPhone comes on unlocked and fine...same when i pull the keypad out, unlock screen comes up...doesn't work in horizontal view at all...
What can i do? Is it a software bug in MyPhone? N97 Settings?

Yes, MyPhone doesn't support landscape mode, when you rotate your phone, the phone will be lock. it's not a bug, but we set it this.

The Nokia N97 is the closest thing to an iPhone, even way better in my eyes, only thing missing is a cool launcher...and Myphone doesn't work in landscape mode...wow...
You should fix that issue quick, ...

P.S.: the N97 goes into Landscape mode automatically when you pull the keypad out, so you would have to exit MyPhone everytime before you pull the keypad out...
You got the N97 on the advertising picture for MyPhone 2.20...and it's not compatible in my eyes, as i use the keypad about 50% of the time...
I would really love to use MyPhone on my N97 because it's a dynamite launcher, but without landscape mode it makes no sense...
Waiting for the fix...

I just downloaded myphone and first thing i noticed is there is no landscape mode. Why!? If only i read the comments i wouldn't have bought this app. This should be a priority when you update this version. And there are a few minor bugs needed to be fixed. Thanks. ,

Great appilcation i must say
one problem i have is, when writing a mesage in the myphones SMS sccreen, when i type my messaage and send it, the message shows under my friends message in bright green, but if i leave that screen, then go back, it dissapears. it doesnt show my sent messages?
please fix this if you can!

Nokia have not open this API to Flashlite. so you can only see it under real time conversation. As soon as Nokia open this API, we will update it.

MyPhone works well with N95. But on N73, it may not have the best effect. However, neither N95 or N73 has the SMS interface.

Opera mini is a java application, so MyPhone cannot start it.
To add facebook, you can goto MySettings>MyApp Link, change exename with http://m.facebook.com, then choose a icon for it and press Add.

MyPhone is only a launcher interface, so it cannot change the original function of Nokia. And in v2.20, you can send sms in the new interface.

I installed Myphone 2.2 yesterday.
IMMEDIATE registration via the internet - well sorted.
Some suggestions:
1. I have to set Myphone as a shortcut and start it. Can I have it as default - it does not show in themes. If I click the center white button on 5800 to get to the 5800 menu, it reverts to 5800 theme on exit and I have to click the shortcut again.
2. I want to add groups to the menu - such as my music directory. How can I add a directory to the screen
3. I want to design my own icons with Paint (for example) or use other icons (with correct size) where do we place the files ?
4. I want to have some pages with blank areas so i can put all my games on the same page. The only way seems to be to have unused icons ?
5. Tabbed pages for the interface with names that can be user defined - such as basic/apps/games/music etc.
6. The Myphone messages selects the first number when there re multiple numbers for a contact.
7. Unlock does not lock the camera. It can still be used when Myphone slider is set to Lock
8. The biggest problem is that there is very limited documentation.
The above are NOT complaints - just suggestions. I work in the computer industry and normally we would have beta software tested by users befre release. Have you ever considered this ? I suggest that this is not open to everyone to test a release but to people who will use the device and software and also ensure that the faults/issues can be reproduced.
A great idea that just needs a little tidying up.

None of the apps I've downloaded from the Nokia OVI store work when putting them on myphone. Is there a way to fix this? I don't want to use mobile websites of stuff such as facebook - I want the actual application I downloaded.

will you describe more detail, you can the app you downloaded from OVI, you can not launched them on the MyPhone.
as for launch the app from mobile version site to FB client on mobile phone, you can realize it easily at MyPhone, you can just add a 3rd part menu related with MyPhone. (be sure, MyPhone now can only assign with .sis original apps, can not launch java or widget kind app)

only symbian app can be loaded in MyPhone. A java app cannot start from MyPhone. You can check them in app manager.

iv purschased the latest version of myphone for on my samsung I8910 HD and it is amazing, i love it.
but there is just one main issues im having. when i get a call or make a call, after the call has ended and i hang up my mobile reverts back to its standered menu screen and i have to relaunch myphone. is there anyway i can get around this?
and would be alot better if you could put your own wallpaper picture on the screensaver instead of the big green battery indicator or basic ones included in the software..

When a call comes, MyPhone still runs in the background. so you can use app switch to reopen it. cos it goes to the desktop, so the app cannot go back to it's interface automatically.

yes that is what i am having to do, it just gets a bit annoying having to do it all the time, its not a big issue though. shame you cant set it to reopen it automaticly.
while im here i might aswel ask, is there anyway of downloading or purchasing anymore extra icons as iv used all the extra ones included and still have some more apps i would like to add and dont really want to have 2 of the same style icon..
one more thing, as it is a open app all the time does it use the battery life anymore than normal?

I dont mind what the extra icons look like, i just dont want them the same as the ones iv already used.
i would happerly pay for a an extra download packege of more icons, would be alot simpler also, well for me i mean.
also i have shown this software to alot of my friends and they all love it, and all want it, one of them has already bought it using my account and his gf is going to shortly also, so shows you guys are doing a good job.

To make it even better as it doesnt change your phones original txt message screens icons ie inbox and such like, i have downloaded a basic phone theme which is a iphone one which adds perfectly to your software so gets around the issue of customers complaining that it doesnt change the look of the inbox and messaging. as it is just a theme it stays as that them also when your myphone software is running, so changes completely everything to iphone style.

iphone dark is also a nice theme. We also have themes to change the phone's original look. You know, MyPhone is an app, when you use the phone's function, it will go back to the Nokia interface. The only way to change the original interface is to use a theme. Hope this will help you.

i purchased MyPhone 2.20 a while ago...
It had no horizontal view on the N97...
I just updated to MyPhone 2.30
Still no horizontal view on the N97...
Do you guys realize that MyPhone is totally pointless for the N97 without horizontal view????
Well, maybe one day the update will come and i can finally use MyPhone on my N97...I really would love to, because beside this one issue it's a dynamite app...
