Good News: 5800 XM NAM 3G Woes Fixed With New Firmware
Category: APPs, Original, Author: Jonah, Popularity: 4% [?]It has been a pain and real thing that the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM ( North American Models ) seems has the trouble and bug with AT&T’s 3G network connection (specifically in New York and Chicago, according to Nokia). This makes you problem to go to internet and related issue.
So some customers in USA gave feedback of our MyPhone and other Flash Lite apps have the problems: can not get app activated, or can not go to internet, or read the feeds, when press the button to go to internet the phone just can not response... But our app MyPhone is just okay 
and it's problem of the phone itself, you can trust our professional & sincerity.
Now, a new firmware update, which will be applied to the existing stock, and will also be pushed to the few units, and it can fix this bug. How achieve this? Press *#0000#, This will bring up the device manager, and from there, simply press options - check for update. See how it works greatly for you;
To get our app activated or go to internet with nowadays firmware without this firmware bug is fixed, you can use WIFI to access internet.
Btw, 5800 XM actually support FOTA to update firmware, which is pretty easy. However, since your older firmware just have problem in go to internet, so you can not use FOTA in this particular conditon.
