GPSed for mobile: mapping your impressions

Category: APPs, Life of MMMOOO, Author: Lily.Lu, Popularity: 3% [?]

GPSed is a GPS-based FREE location tracking application for most cellphones: BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Palm, and other Java phones, but you need an internal or external GPS device to run it. You can download it FREE from here.

When you are in an open field, start a track when GPS is ready. It will record your latitude and longitude every seconds, then draw them in a line. It also shows your real time speed and direction. When you arrive a special location, place a waypoint on the line with some details. You can also take some pictures with your phone camera, they'll show up on their exact taken places to describe your colorful journey.

Want something hot? get an account to upload your tracks and pictures directly from your phone to Google Maps, and share them LIVE on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.

See my track skating to office and more, and share your own trips.
