M1, the first Android shell on Symbain OS is released by MMMOOO today!
M1 is based on FlashLite. We make M1 aiming to give a virtual experience of Android to those who use Nokia phones, especially for 5800 XpressMusic and N97, they will have the more wonderful experience.
In M1, you can drag the home screen left and right like in Android. Each page can add and delete icons. You can also lock the phones when you don't use them. Here's some photos of M1.

and Actually, the Nokia5800.net express some future things in the post. Eg. M1 as MyPhone's function: add unlimited apps
Nowadays' is V1.0. In the next versions, we will include Weather, RSS reader, add unlimited apps, And
our new in research hightlight function: iPhone or Palm like SMS dialogue: SMS will be in sender/receptor conversation mode.
so will this make you comfortable, you will not get M1 just a launcher interface. but with useful and cool functions inside more and more!

I downloaded the trial version,and there isn't any message for missed calls and unread messages.
Is this a feature missing only in the trial version?
I think that a popup message for missed calls and unread messages MUST be in such an application,because you've done a great job for the rest

I can not put the icons on desktop on my Xpressmusic 5800. I had trial version prior to installing full version. Is this the reason? How can I put the icons on desktop?
I followed steps in user guide. But wasn't able to place icons on desktop.

nice software. But I have a little problem...
I bought it and downloaded the full version, but when I try to active it, it say "server not found". (translated from the french message I have^^)
i've already tryed to connect the wifi before lauching M1... but nothing changed. I always get the "server not found" message, and the screen stay locked on "activating now..."
finaly, I can only start in trial mode or quit. :/

Hello, I bought M1 and I can't activate. It displays "server not found".
Of course, I checked the Internet access and it works... I did check also the IMEI number... I tried with and without the updated flash lite 3.1 but nothing changed : I always get the "server not found" message, and the screen stays locked on "activate now..."
Unfotunately I can only use the trial mode or quit.

Did you have any kind of roadmap to discribe the next evolution of M1 Android Emulator?
I'll notice some lack to use my 5800XM with M1 :
- sound control and remote call answer with Headset can't be used (I'd bought my 5800XM for music hearing, and i must return to music reader application to be able to control the sound output level. With Nokia Symbian interface, i can controle sound level even i'm on the home page)
- custom icons can't be added to home page (I'd installed several applications as games and utilities, by i can't put there icon on the principal screen. I don't see any information in the user guide to do it. There is a solution, I do not know.)

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. We are planning to upgrade M1 in the near feature. For the sound issue, it cannot be adjust in M1. And for custom icons, we will try to realize it in next version.

I purchased this app this morning, and have been trying all day to get it out of trial mode !!!! it says thank you at the registration screen but it opens up to a smaller windows version with a virtual keypad !!! i have a nokia 5530 why won't this work ???

I downloaded the M1 shell and it doesn't show any of my installed apps on my phone. For example, I use the Opera web browser instead of the Nokia one, but it doesn't show this in the Android browser?

Is this an emulator or just a skin? Can it run .apk files? If it doesn't, then why are you guys cheating people by calling it an emulator and taking high money?

hi.. i downloaded the app... but im not able to add/delete the icons... while starting, it says activate.. then it comes activation failed... i use 3g for net.. still it comes activation failed.. then by no choice, i use trial version....
