Coming back from Chun Jie vacation, the first thing I am here to tell you is about giveaway. As a sort of gifts to our beloved readers and users, we would very like to run a small contest, the winners will receive full version of MyPhone application, 10 copies in all, and whoever have read this post and left comment is to be counted in.

How the contest runs:

Tried it for a few times..
There are a few points that I think would make it more attractive:
1. The screen changing isn't smooth enough, and I think this function is on top of most of the other functions because it looks much more "Iphone-ish".
From what i see from Myphone is that the motion frames can be observed easily and it really bothers me.
2. The starting screen is very pretty and creative. I like the christmas tree very much but i think the programme should let us choose our own picture. The battery logo really suprised me...I didn't thought it would really show my battery level!(good job) There's one with an "Myphone" word jumping around and i think there would surely be a potential to let us to input our own phrase.
3. For the phone dialer, is there anyway to let the dialer to input numbers so i can interact with those answering machines.
4.If the package comes with an iphone theme in the calling screen and the message typing i would really appreciate that.
Other then that i think there's nothing to stop me from using Myphone...but yeah..exactly it's these four points that troubles me.
Frankly speaking it still couldn't surpass the Iphone OS but I am already much entertained with this version (Com'on what do you expect from a flash version?)

M Boy, I've been testing it and I like it.
The unlock screen looks very similar to the iPhone's. I wonder if the vibration can be switched off while unlocking the phone. It's not something essential, but I think that only one vibration during the whole bar would be OK, because if you move it slowly, it vibrates several times.
When clicking one of the buttons, the program appears very quickly, but when you unlock the phone, it needs a bit more time to show myPhone's Main menu. Maybe it's because it's based on Flash, but the change from locked to the menu should be a bit smoother. The same happens when you change from the first to the second page and backwards.
From the main menu, I'd like to have the possibility to choose between 3x5 and 4x5 icons. Icons look very well and can be very easily changed from one position to another.
I love the animated clock!! I've changed the Contacts icon and the clock so that I can always see the clock.
About the RSS feed, as I can't directly click one feed to open it, I have to click the up and down buttons. Is that a trial limitation (like not being able to add feeds) or is it a bug?
I also noticed that while myPhone is open and in landscape mode, it gets locked.
It's a good idea, but could you also prepare the app so that it also works in landscape mode?
"Weather" app looks good, and the "Call" app is also very cute.
I've also seen that if I choose the Battery icon for the locked window, it changes with the battery's charge.
Awesome! Is it possible to put an animated GIF or something similar in the background?
As I'm using the trial version, I'd like to know whether the phone shows any alert in the "slide to unlock" window when a SMS or call has been received.
And, by the way... I'd put security cams near your computers so that nobody steals anything... because points number 3 and 5 are missing in the "Help" app.

It has been one my fascinations, right from day one of the launch of the revolutionary iphone, to own one. But the huge price tag here i india didnt give me the opportunity to own one. Then as gradually the flaws of the iphone started coming out in public, including it not supporting java, flash player, not having copy and paste options etc., my attraction towards the phone faded away. But the icons and the oh-so-cute menu of the iphone is just awesome. Now, when i own a nokia 5800 tube its time to re-live my dreams of owning that funky iphone menu. I am quite impressed with the wonderful iphone UI interface of myphone. I have the trial one and i would love to own the full version. The slide to unlock feature is more than realistic and this interface really makes my phone an iphone, keeping aside the flaws of iphone!!!! s, that makes my 5800 an iphone and also better than iphone!!!

Guess what ..
MyPhone was GOD sent for me when i came to know about it..
It is so superb that it even turns the useless standby lock screen of my 5800 which shows nothing but a message with a beautiful clock & customizable background screen lock !! Though it might seem ridiculous ,in future if by chance the screen lock key on right side gets damaged then MyPhone would obviously be the only sought out application to lock the screen!!
And besides this it also provides us a fully customized menu system that is very much 'alive'(calender icon showing current date & clock icon showing running time,etc)
What are you waiting for..Go ahead and give it a try ..then i'm sure you will come back to post here to get a full version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although myPhone is surely pretty cool on a touch screen phone, it also impressed me on my E51. Unfortunately with the test version only I cannot enjoy the missing features like "number of unread messages and missed calls" and "standby home screen". That's why and because I love it already I want to join the contest - and win one copy

Hello, to begin with I apologise for my English. I from Russia. For a long time I use phones Nokia and they very much are pleasant to me. Nokia 5800 for me left unexpectedly, earlier I did not hear about it and did not expect this model but as soon as it has appeared I was very glad that Nokia has made model with the touch screen. You product very much was pleasant to me. By means of it it is possible to diversify phone interface perfectly. It bright and colourful. As it is very convenient that on the screen at once there are many points and between them easily and simply to move. Very much was pleasant possibility to look through RSS. It is pity that I could not estimate all delights of your product as used only trial version MyPhone. It is the best updating of the interface in my opinion. You have proved that the colourful and interesting interface can be not only on iphone. Thanks you.

I try only trial version, seems good!
but with full version :
- can I switch language to Italian?
- can i set different cities for weather and not only shanghai?
- can unlock function work with lateral slide unlock button of 5800 XM?
- when u have to do a call you have every time allow flash application to dial the number?
With this fix i think it can be an awesome application!

I have every single Nokia, carrying 5 with different numbers, 3 IPhones also with different numbers, 5, iTouch ... the only reason I keep the Nokia's is for your themes. They are personalized dream makers. All other applications get messed up with their codes and expiry dates and sophisticated download etc and when you switch phones, the applications you paid 50euro for is gone. Your themes are the only things that make MY phone mine. Thanks for being #1.

Thx dave, after i download the trial version from your website i directly used it and this is my comment for the software, the software gui is marvelous make people think another apple on my phone because i'm using nokia 5800. I also get lots of benefit from clock display and battery life indicator but if we can personalized icon and menu content that will be great. The rss reader is superb for easy reading and updated. As for the page transition little bit slow maybe it has related with my old firmware version 10. Overall the software is nice but why don't you consider for putting option for user personalization it will give myphone user more pride compare to use a fake iphone. It always nice to have my own style. Thx dave you had developed outstanding software.

what can i say that others haven't? Honestly i didn't care for it. I mean i can only add so many applications to the application. Then when i hit my end button by accident it goes back to my nokia main screen. Now if this "full version" stops it from defaulting to the nokia screen and i can add more applications to the menu without trying to figure out all the file extensions then go right ahead and select me. If not, then i'll pass. Good product. But just limited. Sorry. Only being honest.

and when i show them my phone
because most people have never seen one
ill tell them its so badass

Love Myphone on my Nokia N96.
I have the full version.
Two things developers may look at for future versions,
1) Discovered WLAN network in the status area.(ie in the signal area)
2) Sell the "Enter to unlock" with the battery as a separate *.swf file same as the "Enter to unlock" file is Myphone.swf. in the Power Saver screen.

Congratulations for the MyPhone. It's the best implemention of iPhone UI ever. I've tried others but this one is awesome. The best of all is to have the best of the two worlds, the best UI experience ever and the excelent mobile that is Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

Hi, I just bought a 5800 and my friends use to tell me that " iphone is better"...NO..let me show them that myphone turns symbian into a better iphone and much more, it make it on an friendly and open plateform....this is what nokia should have made...but YOU did it....
PS : juste like I told you on my immmoo account, I'm ok to translate button texts and more into French so as to make it absolutely perfect fit for my people....

alors non en fait je proposais mes services à l'éditeur pour faire la traduction, mais je n'ai pas de nouvelles, comme il s'agit d'un logiciel "fermé" rien n'est faisable sans leur aval....donc pour l'instant c'est mort, sauf à ce qu'ils le fasse de leur coté, ce qui demeure tout à fait possible....wait and see.

effectivement je suis Français, j'ai moi aussi proposé au support de l'aide pour la traduction sans réponse pour le moment. Mais il est possible que la traduction française soit présente dans la version 2.1 prévu sous peu.

It's worth it to post a comment here, even though I don't think I'd win this contest because there're so many comments here.
Myphone application is awesome, I must say. I've tried the trial version with my Nokia N81 yesterday Iand liked it very much. I was showing it around with my siblings and friends hehe.
To be honest, there's something inconvenient about this application since the battery runs out quickly. But still it is super cool and once again, it's worth it to try. Everyone, let's try it.

hey...was contemplating to get either the Nokia5800 and the oh so famous iPhone. But because of budget restrain, i opt for a nokia instead and never regret ever since! i loveeee this phone but it would be great if i could have best of both worlds. Glad i stumble upon your site and after reading what u have to offer...i absolutely can't believe that i can actually have an iPhone look in my nokia5800....dream come true.

hi, not doubt myphone is an excellent application, right now i had trail version in my phone, i want to purchase full version, i wonder what is the additional features i will get with the full version. And also i dont see my apps listed in the icon bar.

I like the iPhone for its UI maturity but I hate Apple's policy of limiting functionality and trying to make customers pay way after the first purchase.
MyPhone probably is the god-sent solution for people like me who expected a killer UI from Nokia on a phone (5800) which has almost everything that iPhone has without the limitations.
It's a great App! With all the fabulous reviews, it is difficult to add anything without repeating/ rehashing what is already said.
So I will stick to an improvement suggestion that I had:
1. We can probably make the UI more customizable for the users: Suppose instead of the iPhone grid pattern, I'd like a dialer-ring pattern for the icons, or the iMac pattern for shortcuts, if we can get this implemented, that would give endless options to the users.
2. Also, if we can add a 'Running Program' icon set to highlight which Apps are running in the background, it will add a ton of value to the app's usability.
I really hope, that the suggestions will be taken as suggestions-from-a-happy-user and not as cribs/gripes as I really really want to win the full license (specially with ForEx rates behaving the way they are
)

i guess im too late for this contest as i just heard about this cool app for my 5800XM.. i search for this app thru google after found out my dad iPaq menu looks like iPhone menu.. so i try to find and found your app.. it's perfect i've tried it but it's only a trial version.. hopefully you can do something.. i know the contest is off but you are the founder aite?? is there anything you can help out??
