Nokia denied Android Rumor

Nokia is said to unveil a new smart phone powered by Android in September. This ridiculous rumors have been denied by Nokia and Symbian employees officially.
"There is no truth to this story whatsoever," a statement from the company read. "It is a well known fact that Symbian is our platform of choice for smartphones."
However, Nokia also has another open source mobile platform in Maemo, which it is actively promoting as part of its Intel partnership.
Turning to Android means Nokia and Symbian have to give up their new S60 5th os to some extend. Clearly, it's impossible. But as we all see, Android has been a great potential threats to Nokia and Symbian. They have to make some change.
At the mean time, if you want to try Android on Nokia, you can try M1 which is an Android style shell on Nokia. See the video below.
