I cant seem to find/add Windows Messenger Live to the shortcuts. It doesnt appear on the app list (same as Quicklaunch).
Is this a RIM issue?

Yes, it's a bug for IM clients ROM (except BBM). although we can find IMs, we cannot launch them.
